Question: hello

I am a male and 57 years old. have had an extended stomach for sometime now. So this past Aug I had surgery, my doctors saw some gallstones which didn't see them causing any problems. But I keep having this horrible nausea to the point I took myself to the emergency room,

dr. believed it was my gallbladder so they removed, Today my stomach is hard and dissented a lot, so I know it wasn't my gallbladder it has something to do with my testicals causing this stomach bloating. I say that because my testicals retracted up into my stomach most of the time now. they use to hang normally all my life exceptfor these past years
I have had mri, ulyta sound xray taken all above my belly button, never taken of my penis, testical area which I always tell them something is wrong from there, Told testicals and bloated stomach and constant nausua having nothing to do with each other

well a big bloated stomach constantly along with severe nausua. with testicals tight and up in my stomach to me is a sign something wrong. Not to mentioned now I have trouble urinating for it feels like something is blocked without good pressure an straight flow though. plus delayed ejaculation

Im not even embarrassed to talk about it because there is something wrong I shouldn't have a stomach big like this with problems I just mentioned

I have not see a urologist yet but plan on making an appt.

any idea which direction I shpuld be going for it wasn't gallblatter

Brief Answer:
Probably retraction of the testicle, follow the advice below .

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your symptoms can be related to retraction of the testicle. It is characterized by the testicle which move back and forth between scrotum and abdomen.

Scar tissue is one of the causes of retraction of the testicle. The intervention to remove the gallbladder can be the cause.

I would recommend the following examination to confirm the diagnosis :

-a physical examination
-an ultrasound
-a urinalysis

If the diagnosis is confirmed the treatment consist in surgery.

A consult with the urologist would be very helpful to confirm the diagnosis and treat properly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further

Brief Answer:
The cause can be related to short spermatic cord.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again dear,

I understand your concern.

There are many other causes related to retraction of the testicles.

It can be caused by a short spermatic cord. If the growth of the spermatic cord does not follow the body growth, the short cord might pull the testicle up.

Another cause can be the remnants of of fetal tissues.

I suggest you to do the examinations that I mentioned above to confirm the diagnosis and take proper treatment.

Meanwhile I suggest to use Reglan 10 mg three times a day for the nausea symptoms.

Take care dear,
