Question: by My my question fairly involved(complex). I have not felt well since last fall. I have been antibiotics four times. Two different ones for sinus infection as the first one made me ill. The doctor had me have a scan of my sinuses. Evidently nothing major was wrong. Then I got an abscess tooth for the first time ever. After taking antibiotics for that the dentist started on my root canal. He put a temporary filling in. The next day it abscessed again. So more antibiotics. I have been having GI tract problems all this time and am now experiencing an overactive bladder especially at night. I had a Colonoscopy recently. The doctor removed 7-8 poloyps. I go back in a year. I have always had low pressure, but now have had several readings in the 140-150’s. I am supposed to set a lower ultra sound. Two-three years ago they found I had gluten, fructose, and lactose intolerances. Also I am anemic. I am a widow and having other non medical problems I am dealing with which I hope will be resolved soon. Genetic depression and a family history of Serious GI problems. The doctor thinks part of my problem is anxiety. I want to be well or at least better! Any ideas, suggestions.

Brief Answer:
Depression may be the main reason for your symptoms .

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

It is quite a good news that there were no problem with your sinuses and you haven't used any antibiotics since the last time you had tooth abcess.
You may need to take iron supplements because the polyps you had removed and also the food intolerances you had may have caused low iron levels in blood .
You are experiencing high blood pressure recently and you may need to treat it with medications . I believe you may start taking atenolol or enalapril to lower blood pressure.
You are taking a multivitamin and make sure it contains enough vitamin B 12 and other B vitamins because they help your nervous system function better.
You may change also your lifestyle to increase physical activity and exercises.
Walking around the block and in Park can help you feel better .
Anxiety and depression may be the main cause of you feeling bad. You are taking several treatments about depression and probably you may consult your psychiatrist to increase its dosages if you still do not feel better.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
