Suggest Antibiotic Medication For Sinus Infection
Antibiotics and their recommended use explained below
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The preferred antibiotic for sinus infection is augmentin if you are not allergic to penicilin and doxycycline in case of penicillin allergy. Antobiotics are generally recommended in case you have headache for a week, fever for 4 days or more, or a lot of thick yellow to green secretions from the nose and feeling unwell.
If you have mild headache for a few days, or do not have high fever for at least 3 days and feel energetic and no thick yellow-green nose secretions very likely you do not need antibiotics.
In this case some antihistamines and local nasal decongestants for 4-5 days with saline solution nasal irrigation a few times a day might be helpful for the symptoms.

Prescriptions are generally given by the local doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Z-pac (azythromycine) is another antibiotic that can be given especially in patients that are allergic to penicillin. Doxycycline is another antibiotic that can be used also for sinusitis in patients that are allergic to penicillin.
Prescription of medications is not a service that can be offered from this site so if you need a prescription you will need to talk to your local doctor.
I hope this is helpful and answers to your question but please feel free to reply in case you need more clarification on this.
