Hello,

meloxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is a potent pain-killer so I guess you must have some sort of arthritis because this is a common cause for patients to use it.
Let me add some reasons against its use though. Peptic ulcer disease, chronic kidney disease, increased liver enzymes, arterial hypertension, etc.
