Question: While riding my mountain bike I went off a larger jump I've used many times getting my exercise, I landed on my male organs on the back tire with enough pain to make me quit for the day. After arriving home and urinating there was a small amount of blood in urine, never happened before, I'm healthy. The next morning it seems to have stopped bleeding there is mild pain/soreness on penis, under my left side of belly and anal area, ureter stretched? How long to heal?

Thanks for query .

Based on the facts that you have posted small amount of blood in urine after accident that you have narrated is mostly due to trivial injury to urethra (Bulbar Urethra) .

Take antibiotics like Ciprofloxacin and anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily for a week .

Under normal circumstances if the injury is minor it heals up within a week or two .However in few cases it may lead to narrowing of urethra (Stricture formation after few weeks .

You have to monitor for urine flow .If you develop pain while passing urine and straining to pass urine in future you may need to consult qualified Urologist and get Retrograde Cysto Urethrogram done to rule out the same .

There is no possibility of injury to ureter .
