Brief Answer:
Medications which increase the potassium level.

Detailed Answer:

Dear Ma am, Good morning!
I appreciate your concern for the safety of certain medications while taking bananas.
The medications which increase serum potassium level like ACE-Inhibitors (Captoptil, Lisinopril, Ramipril, etc), ARBs (Valsartan, Losartan, Telmisartan, etc) Spironolactone (water pill) and Immunosuppressive Cyclosporine should not be eaten along with bananas.

Because bananas contain high amount of potassium, eaten along with the above medications can result in abnormal high potassium (hyperkalemia) which can cause an irregular heartbeat (arrhythmias) and heart palpitations.

Hope this answers your query.
Wishing you best of your health.
