What Will Happen When Glass Particles Gets Into The Vein?

Question: Dear Sir.
I have a one question.
If little particle or glass particle get into vein (by accient or etc.) and flow to the heart (without block the vessel ) and stuck in some skin on heart..... What happen next?
I know it is almost impossible to flow to heart without block the vessel somewhere...
What is the next process of body after particle stuck in heart.
#1. there is inflammation on part, and particle got detached from heart --> I understand this process.
#2. there is inflammation on part, and particle remain on heart--> pls. explain this process.. what is next process... is it make heart big problem or is it OK?

I am happy to answer to your query.

Now, it's impossible for this to happen.

In case it would happen, the small particle should be less than 1 mm in diameter.

Furthermore, it would be circulating inside the veins and not in arteries. It would enter right ventricle and doesn't stop there. The small particle can't be stuck on cardiac tissue, which has a large cavity compare with body veins. So it continue from right ventricle to pulmonary artery. It enter pulmonary circulation and is blocked in one of the small pulmonary arteries causing pulmonary thrombosis.

Please keep in mind that during all the way long, the piece of glass would cause tearing of blood vessels as it is sharp. Causing interior bleeding and imminent death. Otherwise a small particle can only cause thrombosis.

Doctor said that small particle can't be stuck on cardiac tissue...
is it really impossible? or if possible... there will be some inflammation and if particle could not be detached,,, what happen?
I understand your other explaination except upper one... (what if particle is stuck..)

Practically, what you are asking is not possible to happen.

Theorically, the piece of glass should tear endocardium to penetrate the myocardium.
If this happens, major arrhythmia would happen including ventricular fibrillation and cardiac shock. The patient has zero chance to survive.

If patient would survive, inflammatory processes might occur with encapsulation as final process. But the glass will cause myocardial damage and major arrhythmia (including heart attack) with every heart beat. Again the patient has zero chance to survive.

Once again, this can happened only if vessels are not teared during the way back to the heart.
