Question: My mother was a OVarian cancer patient. This was 9 years ago. She is doing fine, but is diabetic and has fatigue issues.
off late from an year she gets bone pain in wrist and in leg around knees and in thighs.
Wrist had a lil swelling. Doc indicated she might have symptoms of Arthritis.
Now these issues are not very frequent as of now, but my worry is if she lands into some other serious illness.
Before that I wanted to know
1) What type of vitamins would be more sutiable for her which could help with her bone which might be ( I dont know) due to some deficiencty as we are vegetarians and her diet is never rich in anything
2) What type of food might help her keeping her diabetic nature?
3) Any kind of tests I need to do to check on any other serious illeness like bone cancer or something?
4) There was a gel which was helping her a lot called as Multigesic gel some years ago which was recommended by doc when she had a pain long back But that gel is no where available now. So any other good gel whcih would help such unbearable pains at times can you recommend?
5) sometimes she complaints that her entire bone in hand and leg pain when she is lying down. This has caused me greatest worry.

Eagerly waiting for a guidance

Hello,

1. Vitamin D3 and Vitamin k will help her, you can give her Cholecalciferol capsule and Vit K with a calcium supplement.
2. Food rich in fiber and low in carbohydrate and fat will help her.
3. You can go for an MRI of LS spine or Gama Scan to role out of serious illness.
4. You can have Tolagin gel.
5. Pain in hand and leg may be due to calcium deficiency or due to nerve compression, nothing to worry much.
