Brief Answer:
Initial treatment is with Betahistine tablets.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.

I have noted your symptoms and the initial treatment of vertigo is with betahistine tablets. In my patients, I use betahistine (VERTIN) 16 mg tablets three times daily for 5-7 days.

Further treatment would depend on identifying the cause of vertigo. This would require evaluation by ENT doctor and neurologist.

I sincerely hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.

Best wishes,

Brief Answer:
Continue treatment as per ENT doctor.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

You should continue treatment as per the ENT doctor's advice. You should get well in 7-10 days. Only if the symptoms continue beyond that or if you get worse, you should see a neurologist for second opinion.

Best wishes,
