Brief Answer:
life expectancy is reduced only in moderate to severe disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

i am dr.kakkae(dermatologist). I have read your query and i have noted your concern.

As far as psoriasis is concerned, patients with moderate to severe psoriasis have a 3.5 - 4 year reduction in life expectancy. This is largely due to increased risk of metabolic syndrome (obesity, hypertension and diabetes mellitus) and consequent increased risk of cardiovascular disease in psoriasis patients. In addition to this, how will autoimmune hepatitis affect the life expectanct further is not known. However it does take out a few options for treatment of psoriasis like methotrexate and TNF -alpha inhibitors.
