Question: What is the best imaging test at finding abnormalities in breast? MRI, Ultrasound, or 3d mammography?

I attached 2 reports on previous question, its my mammogram and ultrasound, can you review it and advise me if i should have an MRI and what this means?

Brief Answer:
If we compare among three modalities then MRI is the best.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to HCM,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern,

There are some limitations in all three imaging modalities.
We follow normal protocol.
Firstly clinical examination is done and then combined sono-mammography is advised.
Mammography with sonography increases sensitivity of lesion detection.Mammography detects calcification well where as sonography is helpful in evaluating any mass etc.

MRI is advised if there are major lesion noticed. It is less commonly used due to cost and time taking but it is very helpful in evaluating mass.

If we compare among three modalities then MRI is the best.

Hope I have answered your query.
