Posted on Mon, 28 Apr 2014
Question: I have undergone knee MRI as there was pain in my knee when I fell down. I actually fell down 2 yrs back and doctors said there is ligament injury and it will cure, but now again I fell down and there was pain for 4-5 days . I am attaching the MRI scans. Can you please confirm if there is anything wrong with the ligament , do I need to undergo a surgery to cure the ligament? Regards, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer: No obvious injury seen. Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for posting your query. I have seen all the images attached No obvious ligament injury is seen on the images attached. However it will be best if you could attach the opinion of your radiologist also who supervised the MRI scan personally. He would have mentioned any minor changes in the report attached. I hope this answers your query. In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out. Wishing you good health. Regards. Dr. Praveen Tayal. Brief Answer: Could not find printed report. Detailed Answer: I could not find the notes of radiologist in these attachments. Please mention the file name which contains the printed report. In case it is a partial thickness tear then conservative treatment will be helpful. Regards.
