Brief Answer:
You need endoscopicsurgery to remove stone.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have a stone of a size of 1.5 cms in lower ureter.

Normally stone of a size of less than 8 mm pass out naturally and do not need active intervention .

However a stone of a such a big size is unlikely to pass out and there are no medicines that can dissolve the stone .If neglected it is likely to damage your kidney due to back pressure changes.

It has to be fragmented by an endoscopic procedure called Uretero Renoscopy (URS) .This is a simple surgery done under spinal anaesthesia and requires two days stay in the hospital and offers permanent cure.,

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,
I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
