What Does The Urine Test Result Indicate?

Question: my urine test result is as below. kindly advise whether I have to take any medicine
Leukocytes 2+
Pus cells - 10-15 /hpf
epithelical cells - 4-6/hpf
RBC's - 2-4 /hpf
bacteria - present/hpf
budding yeast cells - present /hpf

Hello,

Welcome to HCM,

I have gone through your reports.It is highly suggestive of urinary tract infection.

In my opinion you would require a course of antibiotic like Norfloxacin(for bacterial infection) and oral antifungal like fluconazole(for yeast infection).

Kindly note that these are prescription drugs and to be taken under your doctor's suprervision.

Drink plenty of water and maintain good hygeine.

doses once or twice a day for 5 days.

Detailed Answer:
Antibiotics are usually given once or twice a day in divided doses for 5 days initially.

Then urine examination is repeated to know the status of infection.

Further course is decided by the test results.

Kindly consult your doctorfor proper doses and prescription. This platform of HCM does not allow us to prescribe doses of drugs.
