Hello dear. I have gone through the details. So it looks like a recurrent disease as evident from rising ca 125 report and ultrasound report.
I advise you to get a cect abdomen done.

Thank you for the reply.

She was given Cisplatin and Mitotax during the chemo therapies. The disease had got significantly reduced with 4 sessions and then we got the debulking operation done, followed by 3 more chemo sessions. Do you think we should change the chemo medicine.

The treating oncologist had recommended against further chemo therapy so soon after the last one. She had her last therapy in August 2016. He said we should wait atleast 6 months from the last one and preferably 1 year if possible, for better results.

Brief Answer:
No, chemo should start if there is disease on CT scan

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.

Ultrasound gives some evidence of disease in the miscellaneous section. That needs to be confirmed by CT scan. If there is disease, then chemo should be given, otherwise disease will spread more.

Since disease reappeared in less than 6 month time, a change of chemo drug is necessary. The next drug which has to be given is Lipodox and Bevacizumab.

Thanks and Regards
