Brief Answer:
Dynamic x-rays needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

There is need for dynamic x-rays films of your cervical column ( neutral, flexed and extended position of the head) in order to evaluate the true degree of luxation, after that examination we could be sure if it is a small or a big problem.

If there's clicking if your neck, it is not a incidental finding.

1-2 mm luxation is the first degree, so if it stays between those values after dynamic x-rays, then it is not a big deal.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Brief Answer:
Okay then no need for x-rays.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking back.

If the Ct scan was done in flexion and extension, then there is no need for x-rays and yours is not a big problem.

You only need to be aware of it and not to fatigue your neck muscles.

Instead light neck exercises help in forcing neck muscles and maintaining a correct position of your neck.

Periodic imaging check up is mandatory, as is mandatory any new concerns.

Hope I helped you. Wishing you good health.
