What Does My Urine Analysis Test Report Indicate?
Question: My urinalysis showed WBC Esterase 2+ and WBC 11-30. I have no symptoms of a urinary tract infection. The reason for the test and blood work (all normal) was because of waking up with stiffness in my hands and sore feet (no swelling, no redness) which resolves shortly after I move around. The arthritis panel is all normal and is the CBC, etc.

Hello,
if you have no symptoms then there is no reason for concern, unless you've got findings of non-infectious conditions like glomerulonephritis for example (hematuria, proteinuria). Isolated WBC and perhaps also nitrates and bacteria in the urine are only helpful when the patient has symptoms. Unless you're pregnant or immunocompromised, there is no reason for antibiotic treatment either.
