Thanks for writing to us

Findings may suggest low vitamin D level.
Patient may need vitamin D supplementation.I advise my patients to take one vitamin D tablet weekly for eight weeks then one tablet can be taken once monthly for six months.
Patient should also take calcium rich foods like milk and its products.
Patient can take calcium supplementation also and expose to sunlight at least for five minutes daily.

Other findings are within normal limit.

Hi,

What is the Vitamin D dosage you suggest to 8 weeks and for the monthly ?

What about CHOLESTEROL , numbers looks ok ?

also, HIGH SENSITIVE CREACTIVE PROTEIN (hs-CRP) ; it is 1.36 and showing average risk , what does it mean ?

I suggest 60 K units of vitamin D preparation.You can also take standard preparation for vitamin D.
Cholesterol level is acceptable.
HsCRP may be increased in many conditions like infection,inflammation,cardiac problem etc.You may need clinical evaluation for this finding.
