Brief Answer:
Mild brain shrinking due to age related changes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Involutional changes found on imaging studies of brain are a feature mainly related to mild brain changes as we age.

There is need for a quantification of these involutional changes, moderate to severe changes may indicate dementia, mild ones usually aren't related to any neurological conditions.

Since the description means impression of involutional changes, it means that there are mild changes.

However, follow up and treatment about any predisposing condition to dementia such high blood pressure, high blood lipids levels, diabetes, avoiding alcohol and smoking is needed.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.

Brief Answer:
Neurologist evaluation needed.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back XXXXXXX

Impression of involutional changes in brain CT is not indicative of Parkinson's.

Parkinson's disease is a clinical diagnosis, evaluated mainly by Neurologists, in other words, there are no specific tests to confirm it, including imaging studies.

So, consulting a Neurologist should be the next step.

Hope I helped you.

Take care.
