My opinoin as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would like to explain that as you have performed a nuclear stress test and your doctor has recommended an angiogram after that, means that some evidence of cardiac ischemia should have been there.

Coming to this point, the most rationale strategy to follow is to directly investigate for coronary artery lesions. Coronary angiography is considered the gold standard in this regard.

So, I would agree with your doctor, in case nuclear stress test has concluded unequivocal signs of myocardial ischemia.

I would like to directly review your nuclear stress test conclusions for a more specific professional opinion.

Could you upload it here in case you have an available test report ?

I remain at your disposal for further discussions.

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
