What Does Delayed Period After Taking I Pill Indicate?
Question: hi
me and my girlfriend had sex but not intercourse on 12xxxx . at that time i had my underwear on ,just i lyed on her might have bit touched her vagina .after some time just two minutes my inner wear got wet . immediately we woke up. she went for toilet , and also she washed that area with water .we got afraid she took an ipill after three hours. but her regular periods would come on 17 xxxx. but its already one day delayed we are worried is she preganant ? if not in how many days she can expect her normal periods ?

actually there is an trip to go And it is scheduled on 23 march she is worrying whether to go or not ,in case of sudden periods during the trip . is it advisable to take postpone tablets ? because as it said ipill delays periods.
And one more question its is mentioned in ipill website that ,if periods doesnt occur after a week , you should go and meet a doctor.. in some other websites it is written that it takes usually 7-10 days to get period after taking it . which should i believe ?

There is nothing to worry as she is not going to be pregnant by the act because of the reasons I just told you.
As regards periods is concerned it is late to start postpone medicine because it is effective only if taken at least 2 days prior to upcoming periods.
And her periods are expected tomorrow itself.
Yes ipill can delay period by 2-7 days but that is only in 10-15% cases.
Now all she can do is to wait for her periods and she will get them in a couple of days.

Thanks alot for your advice mam.one last question actually she got her periods on 23 of last month it seems . so its our guess correct that will be getting on 19 of this month? No i am bit confused so i am putting same question . And is there any chance to get periods soon ie..., by eating some non veg , papaya which develops heat in body ?

Ask her about her usual cycle length and exact date of her last periods so that I can advice you better.

mam she is saying that last month it was on 23. but her regular period for next month will come five days earlier it seems i think i answered . she is saying now a bit blood was bleeded after the sex had done , as soon as immediately we woke up. but there was no bleeding after that moment .what can i understand?
