Brief Answer: please see details Detailed Answer: Dear Sir If I am correct these are findings on x-ray chest. Unfolding of aorta is not a disease in itself and most of the time occurs with old age. It is basically apparent lose of normal loop of largest blood vessel which at times may be related to its diseases. Cardiomegaly is enlargement of heart shadow on xray. This needs to be confirmed by ECHO or cardiac ultrasound. This may indicate serious heart trouble so get an ECHO at earliest. These findings need clinical correlation and further evaluation. A good cardiac ultrasound should be able to clear both the findings. Only after an ultrasound relevance, importance and severity of disease can be estimated. Hope this provides some insight. Feel free to discuss further. sincerely Sukhvinder
