Question: About a year ago I went to the doctor about eczema on my nipples, they felt for lumps, took photographs diagnosed it as nipple dermatitis and gave me some cream to treat it. The cream works but the eczema comes back around once a month on my left nipple. I recently felt a seed shaped/size thing to the bottom right under my right nipple. I find it hard to find as it is so small, and I can't find it in my left nipple. I was wondering if this was normal or if it was benign, and should I get it checked by a doctor. Thanks

Brief Answer:

Area of concern is only physiologic breast bud, as of now, no need to check with the doctor

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

A warm welcome to Healthcaremagic.
I have evaluated your query thoroughly.

* Left nipple dermatitis requires moisturizer application to keep the part as moist
as possible for preventing repeated scaling.

* The seed-shaped thing at the bottom right under the right nipple is breast bud only;
with hormonal changes of puberty it gets varying appearances, it is not specific
of concern to be afraid of.
This does not require a checkup with the doctor (I have gone through both
breast images of the previous question thoroughly).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi, sorry for his other question but are breast buds usually hard or soft and how can you tell them apart from anything malicious. You've been a great help, thank you so much :D

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

* Breast buds are a semi-soft inconsistency (that is between soft and hard).

And no sorry please for any questions, it's your right to ask any number of questions and our moral responsibility to honour every question.

Take care
