Question: are you familiar with " Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever " ?

I have uploaded and sent the reports from the hospital for review.

I have gone carefully through your query and have checked the documents. I understand your concerns. Let me tell you that most viral infections (also known as viral syndrome) are commonly encountered. I am aware of Rocky mountain spotted fever which is a rickettsial disease and relatively uncommon. The presentation of these two may be similar and that could be the reason of one doctor suspecting the former and another doctor suspecting the latter. I feel that the doctor suspecting the latter has a higher probability of being correct but you may rest assured that even if it is the former, doxycycline should take care of the problem.
