Brief Answer:
Get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test)

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
For your breathing issue, in my opinion, you should consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
PFT is needed to rule out lung disease like bronchitis and asthma.
PFT will also tell you about severity of the disease and treatment is based on severity only.
You may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid.
You will mostly improve with these drugs.
In XXXXXXX you should visit XXXXXXX Asia hospital and consult pulmonologist.
Please let me know
1. Have you ever undergone PFT?
2. Which drugs you are taking at present?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.

Hi

I have never done PFT. I get breathing trouble once in a while. My doctor says that it is one of the allergy symptoms and occur whenever I get in contact with the substance which causing the allergy. Will PFT be helpful in such case? I
have done basic allergy profile test and results was negative.

Item tested: Cow milk, Wheat flour, Hen's egg, Peanut, Chocolate, Fish/Crustracean mix, Legume mix, cereal/lentil mix, Onion/garlic paste, corn, dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, Aspergillus fumigatus, eucalyptus, mould mix, grass mix, weed mix, epithelia mix, animal mix.

Currrently, I am on Thyromorn (75mg), Hetrazan (200mg), Shellcal (500 mg) and Monteck LC. And Derise (60,000) once in a month.

My concern, as of now, is high TPO (>1000) and high allergy count. Can you please let me know whom I should contact for high allergy count and high TPO.

Thanks.
