Posted on Tue, 20 Dec 2016
Question: Please go through the attached PET-CT reports (one done in April and the other in June) during the course of chemotherapy.Total 18 chemos completed by 28-Sep-16 since April 2016. Attached the Bone scan report taken on 21-Oct-16. Kindly let me know whether the condition got improved or not. Mainly I would like to know what "Numerical regression of skeletal metastases" means which is mentioned in the 21-Oct bone scan report.

Brief Answer:
Very good response

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

The current PET scan and bone scan show very good response as compared to before.

There is no active disease now. The bones show non-fdg avid sclerotic lesions which suggest healing. Numerical regression means numbers of bone lesions less.

Overall, it is favourable.

Hope this helps.
Regards
