Brief Answer:
The findings have mildly progressed over the previous scan, no acute bleed

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for sharing your images.

There is what can be described as T2 FLAIR hyperintensities in bilateral periventricular white matter and corona radiata which is seen in MRI scan done in 2006, 2010 and 2016.

In the recent MRI done in 2016 these are seen to have mildly increased when compared to the previous scans.

There is no acute bleed or any other sign of acute disease in the recent MRI scan.

Hope your query is answered.

Brief Answer:
A patient requiring assistance in mobility might have moderate condition

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

In case of CADASIL emphasis is on the patients problems and the imaging characteristics. When we talk of mild disease, usually the patient is less symptomatic and can manage to keep themselves XXXXXXX without support.

Moderate disease is when the patient requires support to move around. Usually the age when patients require such assistance has been found to be around 62 years in females and this can vary with each patient.

In moderately severe disease the patient can have complications like getting bedridden and the average onset for this stage in one research is 66 years.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.
