Brief Answer:
Side effect of statin and antibiotic adds brunt on liver

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for the query.

Were you tested for liver enzymes / function before you were prescribed statin by your doctor? Statins are known to increase the function of the liver and during the medication, the liver enzymes increase. The statins would consume large part of the liver function to metabolize them.
This is common to see the ALT and AST rise during statin therapy. while it is not dangerous always. Keep monitoring the liver enzymes once every 6 months or whenever your doctor advises you.
The second thing is , while you are on statin, the antibiotic therapy would add more work on the liver so the enzymes raise constantly. You may test these after one month of antibiotic stoppage, the enzymes may return normal though you are on statins.
