default
Posted on Fri, 6 Dec 2019
Question: About a month ago, I pulled or ripped the muscle in my right arm lower bicept ,
Dos not hurt anymore, but I just noticed that something is wrong with it,
It looks like the lower part of the bicept is missing, or not connected at the lower end,
and the upper part of the bicept muscle is only the HALF the size it should be.
What you think I need to do at this time ?? workout, exercise ??
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Possible muscular atrophy

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir

I can certainly understand your concern

I have worked through your attached query in detail

As per your symptoms, the possibility of muscle atrophy is high following injury to muscle.

For diagnostic confirmation it's advisable to get an MRI scan of the involved muscle.

Further management if any is largely based on test results

Avoid further trauma to the muscle.

Physiotherapy may be of significant help.

Review with reports to determine further course of action.
