Question: Recently had an EGD Findings 2 gastric ulcers and area of white patches.What causes white page?

Hello dear. I have gone through the details.

So a white patch on oesophagus can be either a fungal infection like candida or abnormal mucosa like Barrett's. Abnormal mucosa in XXXXXXX is due to chronic acid reflux from the stomach into the esophagus.

I'd suggest to please wait for the biopsy report and revert back.
