What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Restarting Femilon After A Break Of 7 Days?

Question: I missed 4 doses of femilon (oral contraceptive) and had to stop the pill. When I restarted the pill after a 7 day gap I have been experiencing vaginal bleeding. Today the bleeding is heavy. Should I stop the pill again or continue it?

My bleeding has lasted for 5 days now. Is it normal to have bleeding for 5 days or does it stop in 2-3 days? It was like having my menses again.
