Brief Answer:
Congestive cardiac failure

Detailed Answer:
hello,
Thanks for choosing HCM for your query!

Most likely swelling in feets is because of a condition called congestive cardiac failure. In congestive cardiac failure the lleft ventricle can not efficiently pump blood out of it.Hence there is a back flow of blood into the lungs and other spaces like feets.
Ask your cardiologist to do your 2d echo cardiogram to know about your cardiac functions and left ventricle ejection fraction. Most common cause of congestive cardiac failure is coronary artery disease. So a 2d echo should be done.
Your treatment is ok ,your cardiologist has prescribed you a diuretic which will help to remove extra fluid and hence swelling will gradually settle down.
