What Causes Sudden Blurred Vision In Left Eye?

default
Posted on Mon, 28 Dec 2015
Question: I just came in from outside where it is cold and I have what seems like a fog in my left eye. When I look out of my left eye it seems as thought I am looking through a light fog. The right eye is fine. It has been this way for about 15 minutes without diminishing. I have not noticed this before. What could be the cause?

Brief Answer:
use artificial tears and meet ophthalmologist.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Welcome to HCM..
I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns...
Have you undergone any eye surgery before particularly of cornea? Any pain in eye? Any history of double vision and headache? Any redness in eye?any history of diabetes or hypertension?
Blurring of vision has got variety of differentials. Particularly the conditions related to cornea like corneal dystrophies , keratoconus .

It can occur in glaucoma too.

In my opinion you should wash your eyes and use artificial tears. If the problem persists after using artificial tears then meet ophthalmologist....
Hope it helps
If you still have any query feel free to ask.
