The usual starting dose for topiramate is 25 mg once daily and it can be increased to 100 mg once daily depending on the response. For flunarizine, the usual dose is 10 mg once daily. These medicines may be required for 3-6 months to longer depending on the patient's condition. For relief of headache, rizatriptan is used. The usual dose is 5-20 mg each time.
