Brief Answer:
Rizatriptan may help.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your diagnosis, current symptoms and treatments received so far.

Botox is a good preventive therapy for migraine, and it would reduce the severity and frequency of headaches.

For relief of headache, you can take sumatriptan or rizatriptan tablets.

I hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.

Have you ever heard of chills being only on one side of the body? My migraines sometimes make me feel like I have chill blaines (sp?) on one finger on the left during the pro-dome phase, but when I was completely shivering the other day, with goose bumps, it was only on my right side. Later, however, I started sweating and decided I must have had a "bug." But I am concerned about the one-sided quality of the chills during the time that I felt most ill.

Brief Answer:
Yes, in migraine

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

Yes, I have seen a few patients with migraine with one sided chills.

In bugs/infection, chills would affect both sides of body.

Best wishes,

Thanks - Migraines can give weird symptoms and I'm glad to know that the one-sided chills is just another symptom, so I will not worry about it. Have a great day!
