What Causes Severe Cramping And Pain In The Foot?
Question: My daughter woke up with a severe cramp and intense pain in her right foot. She said it began to ache last night right before bed, around 10pm. It hurts more when she walks but she still feels it when sitting.

if there is not much of a swelling, there is nothing to worry about.
apply ice packs,compression bandage,local gel. give her analgesics and anti inflammatory medicines today and see the improvement.
ask her to keep the leg elevated on a pillow and to avoid weight bearing as much as possible.
if this doesnt help, consult a nearby doctor and get a xray done.
she should eventually get back to normal in coming few days.Nothing to worry about.
