Brief Answer:
Do the following examinations

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking in HCM

I am sorry for your situation and i can understand your concern.

According to the history you provide if the chest x ray is normal ,no fever and no cough in my opinion you should do further examinations as follows:

CRP
Abdominal ultrasound
Chest CT (if will be needed)
ECG

You feel breathlessness due to the pain and Ventolin does not help.

Probably lung diseases (or thoracic cage) reflecting with pain can not be detected in chest x ray.If it will be an inflammation of the lung you should take antibiotics but it is your doctor who decide about that because h/she knows your clinical picture better.

Please discuss with the above with your doctor and if you will have the results you can attach me and i will try to help you again.
