What Causes Reduced And Irregular Bleeding Menopause?

Question: I am 47 going through menopause and since my last period started on the second of Julyit hasn't stopped Is this normal. The bleeding isn't enough to require protection but is there every time I go to the toilet.

There are hormonal changes occur during menopause and estrogen level decreases and period can be irregular but to be safer side you should consult a Gynecologist and get yourself examined to rule out the other causes of prolonged bleeding like polyp, atrophic vaginitis and endometrial carcinoma( very rare).
