Brief Answer:
Wait and watch, nothing to worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

I have looked at the pictures. Your wife has had a bruise. As long as she can walk around, it is not something very serious. As the pain and swelling has come down you can wait for another week, the bruise will also reduce on its own. There is nothing to worry. Just wait and watch. You have taken all the necessary measures such as pain killers and hot compress.

In case the symptoms persist or worsens then it is best to meet your physician for a detailed examination and treatment.

I hope this answered your query.
