Brief Answer:
Seems to be fracture rib.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.

It seems that hitting on chest has caused a fracture in the rib which is causing the pain. Get an x-ray chest to see any rib fracture.
Take rest.
Hot fomentation on the pain site and application of anti inflammatory gels will also help. You can use a chest belt of appropriate size for better relief.
Do get some muscle relaxants prescribed from your orthopedician.
Avoid lying on the injured side and any overhead activities.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.

Take care
