Brief Answer:
Hi,you need evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
There are so many medical reasons for painful intercourse or it can be sometimes psychological also.
It may need evaluation because it can affect your sexual relationship and married life also.
In my opinion you should consult a gynaecologist and get your vaginal examination done to rule out the local cause.
You should go for blood profile, vaginal swab culture and sensitivity, investigation to rule out STD ,urine examination and ultrasonography to rule out the cause. These investigations rule out the main causes like PID, cervicitis, endometriosis, vaginismus, STD, cystitis etc.
Sometimes lack of lubrication also cause this problem.
If all the investigation reports will be normal then only we should think psychological causes in your case because you are already having mood swings problem.
So please revert back to me with your report.
I think I have answered your query if you have further questions I will be happy to help you.
Good luck.
Regards
Dr. Richa

I had poly cystic ovary 5 years back and it is fully cured now. I too had Bartholyn Gland infection and it recurred . But that is fully cured now too(probably after having startd intercourse). I dont have any lubrication problem , we have normal and enjoyable conjugal life . What do U mean by psycological problem ?
P.S : I am not married .I don't have sex very regularly as my partner lives out of station and he is younger than me.
