What Causes Pain In Left Left Leg When Lying Down While On Chemotherapy?

Question: For the past several weeks, I have been bothered by mild to moderate pain in my left leg only. It is worse when lying down or sitting or upon getting up. About an hour after getting up in the morning, the pain subsides. I have tried wearing compression socks and an ace banadage on my thigh for some relief. I need to add this: I am currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy of my left breast. Therapy had to be suspended, though, because I developed an infected seroma that had to be removed surgically. I am now wearing a WoundVac to accelerate healing so I can resume chemo. Could the leg pain be related to either the chemo or the assault on my lymphatic system?

Chemotherapy affects whole body. This applies to nerves as well. So it is very common to have strange pain during the chemotherapy. Leg pain is one of them.
Breast cancer chemotherapy is a very strong one. So no wonder you have side effects. Most likely after another course you will get even stronger pains.
If you have this leg swelled, this is also very common side effect of chemo.

And there is not much you ca do with it. Painkillers is the best we have.
