It can be varicose veins

Hello,
I have studied your case. Pain and swelling in leg may not be related to leg bones fracture. It can be varicose veins. But before I advised you any thing I would like to know little detail of the illness.
1.Can you send me images of your legs?
2. Do you have Diabetes or high blood pressure ?
3. Why you still wear leg brace when your fracture is 8 years old ?

Brief Answer:
I would suggest you to get Doppler examination of the leg

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for replying. I do not think that you have varicose after seeing those images. It can be edema or water accumulation which is common after standing for long hours, specially in BP patients. Also it can be due to clot in calf muscles.
So I would suggest you to get Doppler examination of the calf and leg. It will confirm us what is the cause of the swelling. Your BP measurement does not look right to me. Bp can not be 118/40. So you need to recheck that also.
I hope this answer will be useful for you.Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
