Brief Answer:
be careful

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to health care magic,

I am Dr Sriram Nathan an ENT surgeon who has seen and treated lakhs of patients with infection and let me tell you that there is no miracle drug which can prevent you from getting any infection!

However you can still control your symptoms and make sure that you do not get worse in any case by considering these:

-Since most of your problems are related to allergy like congestion and post nasal drip and also points to rhinosinusitis it is clear that you have both an allergy and also a sinus problem.

-Since this gets worse in certain climate and when you travel it is evident that weather and pollution levels also affect your symptoms

-In any case you need to get this evaluated further by an ENT consult and also by a complete allergy work up and CT PNS. This is when you come back from your travel of course. You can get back to me on this.

-For your present travel whenever you feel any irritation or congestion you can try an antihistamine like levocetrizine for temporary alleviation of symptoms. You doctor will know about this.

-Make sure you take only warm water during your travel and also keep yourself away from dust and cold

-Keep yourself away from the direct blast of AC or Fan

-Be careful on what you eat and drink in any case

-Good clean water and steam inhalation will also help you get relived of the congestion. Avoid head bath though as it may not gel well with your allergy.

In any case these are only measures which may help you but in the long run I would advice you to consult an ENT and get a complete examination (as advised above) done so that he can guide you in a more specific manner.

Hope this helps and if you have any more question I would be only happy to answer

Regards
