What Causes Low AFI Level During 33 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
Question: madam namaste hi my name is XXXXXXX my wife is pregnant and her LMP is 22 july 14 and EOD 28 July 2015
she is 33 weeks pregnant madam we are taking regular treatment form gynecologist but today she said i feel AFI level is low around. when we visited the radiologist recommended by her he said AFI level is 6-7 C.M and when we inform the doctor she ask for drip. we found the history of doctor she always having sugerion delivery we fear from her please advise us what AFI level should be required in this stage. what to do increase the AFI level.

AFI level less than 5 cm is low.
6-7 cms is within normal range of 5-20 cms.
so there is no need of drip or caesarean.
Just bi- weekly sonography for AFI is sufficient.
No intervention required now. but if you want she can take arginine granules orally for increase in AFI

sir but our gynecologist forcing her for drip she said there is drip required for 3 times per weeks sir we totally trap by her now 33 weeks over and we are taking treatment from her we can't go to another doctor please suggest us what to do.
