What Causes Loose Stool And Burning Sensation In Rectum?

default
Posted on Fri, 2 Jan 2015
Question: Hi, This morning I woke up and had my first cup of coffee like always. I had use the bathroom almost immediately. My stool was very runny and had an orange/yellow color. Twice I went to the restroom and it was like this. Afterwards there has been a burning/sore sensation around my rectum. No signs of hemmoroids or anything and there was no blood in my stools. What could be causing this and what can I do to help the soreness/burning?

Brief Answer:
Wash the anal area thoroughly!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this burning sensation that you have reported and the loose stool. The cause of this burning feeling is an acidic stool which burns this area. Washing thoroughly with fresh water would cleanse the area and take if off thus helping with the burning sensation. You should remember to do this after every stool today.

If this fails, then please inform me so that we can look for other locally soothing ointments to help with this.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
