Question: I am wearing a Foley catheter after surgery . I have not peed for several hours . catheter has been in about three weeks

Hi and welcome to HCM.
It is possible that there is reduced urine output that varies from day to day and if there is a period of several hours without urine in catheter bag, this should not concern you.

but if there is significantly reduced urination (less than 500ml per day)or there is no urine during a 8 hours period, you should see urologist since catheter may have been occluded and it should be reinserted. Also, if there will be blood in urine,you should do the same.
