Brief Answer:
Follow the advises. Observe how you stay after this.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

First of all, please try to notice where is it burning and where is it itching.

The gut per se is an extremely big region, do you mean to say your lower abdomen? Did you mean it's burning inside the abdomen and itching and burning after you pass the motion?

If there's burning sensation inside the abdomen then it could be attributed to some kind of gastric/duodenal erosion or even H. Pylori infection. You should take a combination of PANTOPRAZOLE/DOMPERIDONE (40/30)mg Once daily in the morning before breakfast for 14days.

Have simple homemade foods, plenty of green vegetables, salads, curd based diet, avoid any form of spicy food. Avoid smoking/alcohol strictly if at all do. Drink plenty of water (~2.5ltr per day).

Secondly, the itching part needs to be examined properly by a Gastroenterologist or a Surgeon...From your description, it could be due to Worm infestation or formation of ano-rectal fissures / piles which can be only ascertained after a clinical examination of the area as well as stool routine and micro-analysis.

No, none of this is serious problems and can be easily treated once diagnosed in time...So go ahead and get yourself checked up by the Gastroenterologist or the Gen. Surgeon (whoever is accessible and available).

Please let me know if there are further queries / doubts.

Take care.

Brief Answer:
follow as already advised.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Well, in that case, the second advice is applicable i.e. need to rule out any underlying ano-rectal fissures/piles.

Drink plenty of water, have plenty of fresh green vegetables, simple homemade foods, salads, curd based diet, avoid any form of spicy food. Avoid smoking / alcohol strictly if at all do...

Take Sitz bath twice to thrice daily (sit in a tub of lukewarm water putting some salt in it). You can watch a tutorial video of Sitz bath online for proper techniques.

Apart from this, do not strain while passing motion, if there's history of constipation then take Syp. LACTULOSE 15ml once daily at bedtime and observe how you stay (dose can be further escalated up to 30ml thrice daily based on the initial response).

Finally, this needs to be examined clinically by a Surgeon as already explained for the exact diagnosis as management can vary based on the clinical findings. It's important to check the blood sugar levels (FBS,PPBS) also along with this.

So better to go ahead and get yourself checked up by a General Surgeon and proceed further.

Take care.
