Brief Answer:
Need to change Ramipril to other ACE inhibitors.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. If allergic reaction is present since start of triasyn, then it could be the cause.
2. Triasyn contains ramipril and felodipine. Amongst both Ramipril is known to cause more hypersensitivity or allergic reactions.
3. If corticosteroid or oral anti-histamine is not helpful and skin is not dry, and moisturizers are also being used, then the only option left is change of medication.
4. Other types of ACE inhibitors can be substituted in place of Ramipril. The blood pressure needs to be always in control.

You need to discuss with your doctor regarding changing the medication. Once Ramipril is stopped and itching disappears, cause can be attributed to it.

Meet your doctor for new prescription for change of medication.

Hope it helps.
