Brief Answer:
It can be because of eye or general problems.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Madam
Welcome to Health care Magic

It seems from the history that your mother has underwent cataract surgery in the month of December and she had regular check up after surgery following which she is having headache and inability to sleep properly.
The causes for headache following cataract surgery are inflammation induced by surgery and refractive error following cataract surgery.

Since it is almost 4 months following surgery by this time the inflammation produced by surgery if any would have been decreased. Hence inflammation is unlikely after 4 months of surgery.
Refractive error can be caused by surgery either because of astigmatism caused by surgery or because of difference in the implanted intraocular lens power and the power of the intraocular lens which was implanted following surgery.
This can be corrected by use of appropriate spectacles or glasses.
In this case she will have diminution of vision after cataract surgery and if she is having any decrease in the visual acuity this problem is more likely and as I advised the treatment is by use of appropriate glasses.

If she is not having the above mentioned problems then we need to consider other problems like uncontrolled blood pressure, primary headaches like migraine...
For this she needs to undergo examination by general physician.

Hence I advice you to get examination by eye doctor to look for the eye problems like inflammation induced by surgery or uncorrected refractive error, if both are not there she needs to consult general physician.

Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
